I start every new year with the tiniest flicker of fear that it could be my last in this industry. Not because I’m over it (not even close), but because I still wake up a bit stunned that this is my job. Wedding photography in Australia is fiercely competitive, and somehow it seems to outdo itself every single season.
I’m endlessly grateful for every single couple who chooses to work with me. I don’t care where you’re getting married, what it looks like, or what you look like. Booking a wedding photographer is an act of trust, collaboration, and heart. If you bring those things to the table, we’re going to create something special together.
These photographs are just as much yours as they are mine. Without your stories, personalities, and willingness to trust me, they simply wouldn’t exist. 2024 has taken me all over South Australia and beyond — from the rugged coastlines of Yorke Peninsula, to the rolling vines of the Adelaide Hills, the red dirt of the Flinders Ranges, and intimate celebrations in hidden city spaces. Aftershoot was my silent partner behind the scenes, helping me fly through edits so I could focus more on the storytelling.
And just a quick note about what you’ll see here — every couple in wedding attire? That’s from their actual wedding day, with all the glorious time pressures and moving parts that come with it. Believe me, I have thousands of images from every part of a wedding — the getting ready moments, the ceremonies, the dance floors — but I choose to show the parts of the day where I have the most creative freedom, where my vision has the space to breathe. I’ve found that when this style connects with people, those people turn into the absolute best clients I could ever hope to work with.
So here’s 2024, in all its joy, colour, and chaos. Thank you to everyone who trusted me with your day. Let’s see where 2025 takes us.
